WOW. What an amazing weekend we have just had with this incredible young lady and her lovely family. Her wish was to watch the Phantom of the Opera at the theatre. On Saturday we picked up the family and drove them to London where we checked in to luxury apartments. We enjoyed a wonderful meal together at the Hard Rock Cafe before heading to His Majesty's Theatre for the show. Unbeknown to the young lady we had arranged a surprise meet and greet with some of the cast before the performance. We were taken behind the scenes where we saw all of the different props and then we headed to the dressing room. This is where the magic happened and we were greeted by the Phantom, Christine and Raoul. We could not have wished to have met 3 nicer people, who were all so kind and it was the best feeling ever to see how much it meant to the young lady. Raoul had also gone out of his way to make her her very own, personally embroidered, Phantom of the Opera bag with her name on. This was full of all kinds of different memorabilia that the young lady loved. ![]()
After the speculator performance we were then invited back to the dressing room to meet the Phantom again which was just the perfect ending to a truly magical day. Yesterday we enjoyed a sightseeing day in London which included visiting Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge and St Pauls Cathedral.![]()
It was a pleasure to spend the weekend with such an inspirational young lady and her family and to witness how much her wish meant to her. We cannot thank everyone at the Phantom of the Opera enough for the love and kindness that they showed to us, giving such a deserving family memories that will stay with them forever.❤️

On Sunday we had 8 runners taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon and Joe Fox who took part in the Brighton Marathon. It was a beautiful day and everyone completed their races in some very impressive times. ![]()

Our latest wish was for this beautiful little girl and her lovely family who we sent for an overnight stay at Flamingo Land Resort in North Yorkshire. The family enjoyed full access to the entire park which included lots of different rides and roller coasters and their award winning zoo. They stayed in a luxury 4 berth cottage with a hot tub and the little girl loved every minute of her very special wish.![]()

Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of meeting 2 very lovely ladies - Carly Wright and Izzy Allen. Carly and Izzy contacted Wishes 4 Kids back in January, offering to donate Easter eggs to our Charity. When they realised how many children we worked with, they made it their mission to collect as many as they could and surprised us with an unbelievable 395 Easter eggs and some lovely handmade gifts. We cannot thank Carly and Izzy, plus everyone else who has supported them, enough for their incredible kindness and generosity. The biggest thank you comes from our 'wish' children who will be so happy and grateful to receive them. THANK YOU❤️❤️
Gary Lowe, Charity Manager of Wishes 4 Kids, is organising a Charity Quiz Night which will take place on Friday 30th May at the Leicester Lions Rugby Club in Blaby. We have booked a new date for our annual Charity Golf Day which will take place at Kilworth Springs Golf Club on Friday 13th June 2025. ![]()

Wishes 4 Kids recently had the great pleasure of granting the wish for this incredible young man. He loves gaming and his wish was for a new Gaming PC and monitor. We were able to buy him a brand new MSI MAG Gaming PC and a 34'' Curved Gaming Monitor and he was very happy and extremely grateful. ![]()

This week we had the pleasure of meeting this amazing young man and his lovely parents. He has been through an awful lot over the last few months and his wish was for a Meta Quest 3 virtual reality headset. With the help and kindness of our incredible supporters we were able to buy the young man a brand new Meta Quest 3 and a gift card so that he could download his favourite game. He was extremely grateful and it was heartwarming to see how much it meant to him and his family.![]()

What an amazing couple of days we have had with this incredible little girl and her wonderful family. Her wish was to watch the Lion King. This week we took her and her family, via first class train, to London so that they could watch the Lion King live at the Lyceum Theatre. We received VIP treatment in the Ambassador Lounge where all of the staff were brilliant with the little girl and could not do enough for us all. After the show we arranged a surprise meet and greet with some of the cast and we had the pleasure of meeting Scar, Timon and one of the hyena's. They were all so lovely and it was so beautiful to see how much it meant to the family and how happy they were. The family then enjoyed an overnight stay in a luxury apartment in Central London. The following morning we visited the Paddington Bear Experience which was fantastic and the little girl loved every second of it.![]()
It was a pleasure to be able to grant this very special little girl's wish and give her and her family magical memories that will last forever.
On Sunday 6th April Sarah, Becky, Maz, Rachael and John are running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Wishes 4 Kids. Wishes 4 Kids had the great pleasure of recently meeting this exceptional young man who has been through an awful lot in the last 18 months. We visited him in hospital and surprised him with a brand new MetaQuest 3 VR Headset and vouchers so that he can treat himself to some new games. ALDI ASHBY 20 ROAD RACE![]()
We have 2 places available for this year's Aldi Ashby 20 running race, which will take place on Sunday 23rd March. This is an extremely popular event which sold out within 24 hours and there are no places available anywhere else.![]()

We recently met this incredible young man and had the pleasure of granting his wish. He loves gaming with his friends and his number one wish was for a gaming monitor. A huge thank you to the wonderful team at De Montfort Hall for choosing Wishes 4 Kids as their chosen Charity to support during their Christmas performances of Snow White. Wishes 4 Kids would like to say a huge thank you to Derrick Stanyon and his amazing team at Hollywood Bowl Leicester for allowing us to invite our wish families for a night of fun-filled bowling in their VIP lanes. Everyone had the best time, enjoying unlimited games of bowling followed by a fantastic meal where we all sat together in our own VIP area. Derrick then gave every child their own special goodie bag, full of toys and a selection box each.![]()
