An amazing amount of money has been give

An amazing amount of money has been given to the Charity today. £12760.00 has been raised by fundraising events organised by Steve Finch and his family and friends. Things like headshaves, DJ sessions, 24 hour sing a longs and many more things have been undertaken by these people to raise this astonishing amount. We can’t thank you enough for this and can assure you that every penny will be used to grant poorly, local children’s wishes as soon as we are able. On behalf of the children and families that you will be helping please accept our heartfelt thanks for all your kindness and hard work. We will be writing to you to let you know how your money will be used in the New Year. Merry Christmas to you all and THANKYOU to all the special people that have helped you.

Well, that’s the last toy delivery of th

Well, that’s the last toy delivery of the night. We have had an incredible amount of toys, sweets, vouchers, gifts and money donated to give to children and families that have nothing or very little this year. In the last 18 years we have never had so many requests to help families who are struggling. Thanks to your help and generosity we have delivered presents and food to 214 children and their families over the last 3 weeks. Our volunteers have worked so hard to get them all out in time. They have given up their evenings and weekends and we are so grateful to you all. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope that you all keep safe and well.

In today's climate, Wishes 4 Kids,

In today's climate, Wishes 4 Kids, the same as everyone else has struggled to keep pace due to all of our fundraising events being cancelled. We are so grateful and humbled by the many supporters that have continued to send in their donations. Even though times are hard it doesn't stop children being ill and suffering some terrible times. Thank you to all of you lovely people out there that have helped us to keep going and continue to grant wishes and help the children that really need it. We are continuing to give many children what they have wished for and brighten their lives which we could not do without your help. THANK YOU for your support and kindness and helping to make the children's lives happier at this terrible time. We hope you all have a Merry Christmas and can assure you we will continue to make as many children as we can as happy as we can.

The Cosby Marathon – Sunday 4th October

As the London Marathon has been cancelled for this year, Gary Lowe will be taking part in a virtual marathon this Sunday to raise money for Wishes 4 Kids.
Gary will be running round the local village of Cosby, starting outside the Co-op on Main Street from 9am. The loop is 0.65 miles and so Gary will need to run at least 40 laps in order to complete the 26.2 mile distance.
As in every London Marathon, Gary will be dressed in full purple fairy gear which includes body paint, tutu and fairy wings.

Illston Charity Bonfire and Fireworks Night

Dear Friend and Supporter,

As you are aware, the coronavirus pandemic has meant that it is now vital to limit social contact and avoid gathering. For this reason, it is with great sadness that we must inform you we have had to cancel this year’s Wishes 4 Kids Charity Fireworks and Bonfire Night due to take place at Illston on the Hill.
Obviously we are all very disappointed, especially after having to cancel last year’s event due to bad weather, but we are in unprecedented times and we hope you can understand the steps we are taking to help keep our volunteers and attendees safe.
The bonfire night is a major fundraiser for Wishes 4 Kids and would have helped to provide vital funds for our Charity. If you would still like to donate to ensure that we can grant many more children’s wishes then please visit https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/illstonbonfire

Wishes 4 Kids are hugely grateful for al

Wishes 4 Kids are hugely grateful for all the hard work that Jodie Taylor, Millie Russell and Deborah Costelow have put into raising funds over the last few very challenging months for the Charity. As everyone is aware times are very difficult and very hard for everyone and these lovely ladies have given all of their time and support to the Charity and the community. Several people have contacted us to say that these lovely ladies have kept them going during lockdown and we are immensely grateful to them for everything they have done and on behalf of the children and families that have had wishes granted from their fundraising, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
