At Wishes 4 Kids, we're dedicated to creating unforgettable memories for children facing incredibly difficult circumstances. If you think your child may be eligible, we'd love to hear from you.
To be considered for a wish, the child must:
Be 18 years old or under
Live in Leicestershire (UK)
or treated in a Leicestershire Hospital
Have a life-limited or terminal illness, have experienced life-changing physical or emotional trauma, or have been affected by major abuse
Every child is invited to tell us their three biggest wishes. If the application is successful, we'll do everything we can to make one of those wishes come true.
Each application is carefully considered by our Board of Trustees to ensure it meets our eligibility criteria and that the chosen wish is achievable based on the charity's available funding and any support required from external organisations or individuals.
Applications are approved by a majority decision of the Trustees, and their decision is final. Parents, guardians or carers will be notified of the outcome within 14 days of the Trustees' most recent meeting.
In some circumstances, parents, guardians or carers may be required to arrange appropriate travel or activity insurance for themselves and the child while taking part in their wish.
While we would love to fulfil every request, unfortunately we are unable to grant wishes for:
Swimming with dolphins
Family holidays
Bedroom or garden makeovers
Wheelchairs or specialist beds
Trips to Disneyland Florida
Other long-haul destinations
